THE PROCESS

Without templates, size restrictions or pre-determined ideas, anything is possible.  Take a look at the portfolio pages for some ideas.

How does it start?

I work from a  list of ideas and stories that you send me.  It should cover all the people, places, events and locations that you’d like to include, together with any supporting photographs.  From this, I’ll build the story and create the drawing. Every drawing is unique and is built around your personal story.

What’s the timescale?

It can take anywhere from 48hrs to 10 days depending on the size and the complexity of the drawing.

What kind of material is the drawing on?

It’s a combination of ink and watercolour on Bristol illustration paper.

Framing

I generally supply the drawings unframed but I can also offer a limited number of styles at additional cost.

How is it delivered?

They are usually delivered flat due to the weight of paper which doesn’t roll well. If it does need to be sent in a tube then I would advise a different paper weight and type. Drawings destined for print are supplied as a high-resolution TIFF or EPS files and can be emailed or via a download link.
